Sharon Mascall (MA, Oxford)
2007 Best Radio Broadcaster, SA Media Awards

An Oxford graduate with a master's degree in modern languages, Sharon was a producer and presenter on BBC radio and TV for six years before moving to Australia in 1999.

Sharon is a regular feature writer for The Age and The Adelaide Review. Her work has appeared in other leading Australian newspapers including The Australian and The Sydney Morning Herald.

She has produced and presented international coverage for the ABC and continues to produce and present documentaries for the BBC World Service.

Sharon has produced and presented almost a thousand hours of radio and TV and written hundreds of published articles.

Her research into communication skills and journalism is rigorous and ongoing. As a lecturer with the University of South Australia, she also teaches journalism and creative writing in South East Asia.
